Howard Romp has been working on two main themes lately:
SLEEPING BY THE TELEVISION. The TV becomes an equivalent to the home fire, where we sat letting the flickering flames warm our imaginations. We are comfortable lying in front of it; we are lulled into sleep, no matter what strong, heart-rending horrors it flickers past us. It has become the food for our subconscious. Might it be poisoning our desire?
